In the early 00’s I was working in a children’s home in a major UK city.
One of our residents was a sparky 15 yr old girl, her best friend was a 12 yr old girl from another children’s home.

Together they hatched a money making plan: Town. Friday. Entice men down an alleyway with the promise of sex with the 12 yr old, then take cash off them and run away.

It’s a very flawed plan.

Here’s my point:
Of all the issues they faced, the one problem they never had was finding men who would want to fuck a 12 yr old.

Of course grooming gangs are an issue. I’ve worked with grooming gang survivors and, trust me, yes it’s still going on. But the far bigger issue, that we aren’t prepared to face, is quite how many men (of all nationalities) actually want to fuck children.

This is grim. Her husband has been arrested. It’s possible to be worried about the risk to women from uncontrolled migration without forgetting that most women who are murdered are killed by men they know. If you only care about male violence when it’s committed by a migrant you don’t actually care about women.
