截止2024年10月15日,本届南瓜奇幻共收到海内外作品400多部,其中中国本土投递作品有165部.国外参与竞赛的长片质量明显提高,这次入围作品达到了9部之多,突破了以往记录.本届南瓜奇幻以“奇异幻境Weird & Magic”为主题,选片风格更倾向于奇幻色彩的脑洞作品,经过6位初审评委的精心挑选几番取舍,最终76部入围

4.A new AI section has been added, and we are now calling for entries; all submissions in this section should not exceed 5 minutes in length.
5.A "Best AI Short Film" award has been added, with one winner receiving a trophy.
