Having now seen #Sinners twice, I feel confident in calling it genuinely brilliant. One of the best horror films I've seen in a good few years, and legitimately sublime as a celebration of art, of culture, of life itself.

Incredibly honoured to have been able to present at #Terrifier2025 today as my first ever academic conference! Hopefully the first of many to come! #terrifierconference#terrifier
As a massive fan of the game, #AMinecraftMovie hurt me. Genuinely loathsome in a way few films I've ever seen are, I think to say I hated it would be a genuine understatement.

Continuing on with my pledge to write more about mental health and art, I wrote an essay about how the experience of playing board games with friends helps (me) deal with depression. #BloodOntheClocktower#BoardGames

Got a chance to watch #Mickey17 yesterday. Not entirely convinced if its a "Great" movie, but I sure as hell think it's a very entertaining one.

The start of this year has been very busy, but I have finally had time to write up, edit, and publish my list for the best films of 2024!

If you'd told me at the start of the year that I would unapologetically love #SonicMovie3, I might have laughed in your face. But 2024 continues to surprise me at every turn, and I must say: I really, REALLY liked #SonicMovie3!

I’m genuinely kinda baffled by the praise #Blitz is getting because I honestly thought it was just … awful. Scattershot, manipulative, contrived, aimless, pointless. Even the production design and aesthetic of it just felt too clean and polished and glitzy. Really not a fan.
Horror fans have been so spoiled for bright, exciting, new voices and filmmakers the past few years. Parker Finn’s really fucking got it with #Smile2
(also lukas gage is damn terrifying in this. just this GIF freaks me out.)

6. Zone of Interest
