Unlike standard tactical ninja skirmishes, this was a pure clash of faiths. Chiruku didn't lose because his justsu failed, but because Hidan and Kakuzu are literal forces of nature that just tanked a divine onslaught until his chakra entirely ran out. It subverted the entire Naruto combat system in the best way possible.
Something different about this fight and that’s what made it so memorable.

THE MORMONTS’ LOYALTY CAME AT A PRICE

The Mormonts didn’t just claim loyalty to the Starks, they repeatedly proved it when loyalty was dangerous.

From Robb to Jon, they stood with the North even when other houses chose survival over allegiance. Lyanna Mormont was simply the clearest reflection of that tradition: young, fearless, and unwilling to abandon House Stark.

Her death fighting a giant was more than a heroic moment. It symbolized the price House Mormont paid for remaining loyal to the very end.

If Lyanna was truly the last Mormont, then their story is one of Westeros’ darkest tragedies:

A house that never betrayed the Starks may have died defending them.
