Norway manager Stale Solbakken with a very strong reponse to Folarin Balogun's red card being suspended.
"It is a big mistake by FIFA. It is not a great conclusion. He got a red card and the VAR concluded that it was a red card. That means you are suspended for one game.
"I think what is really bad about that situation is, if the USA beat Belgium, they will always have that extra thing about it.
"The Belgians will be furious. What about the next red card? What happens there? Will some committee take it away? It’s a bad, bad, bad, bad decision that will hurt the World Cup and the United States."
Just to be clear, then. FIFA:
1) can't possibly intervene when Iran are forced to move, a referee is denied a visa, or fans are barred from the USA
2) can absolutely intervene when a decision goes against the USA that Donald Trump doesn't like
Smashing. All know where we stand
A scandalous decision, FIFA placing its thumb on the scales of the tournament without even feeling compelled to offer a fig leaf of justification. Borderline red cards happen all the time and plenty of teams with more at stake than the USMNT have to just deal with it.
#Arsenal have sold Leandro Trossard for a fee close to what we paid, after the best years of his career with 36 goals and 34 assists in 174 games. He will go down in history as the player who scored our most important, title winning goal; a true cult hero.

What we have witnessed tonight against the reigning champions is truly remarkable.
25 years to the day since I woke up in a hostel in Los Angeles, walked downstairs to the internet room, logged into my email and read this from my Dad.
0-1 - England have won a FIFA World Cup match after conceding the opening goal for only the second time in their history, also doing so in the 1966 final against Germany (4-2).
Coming.
For no reason, Arsenal's squad number history since the launch of the WSL in 2011...
1.Byrne, van Veenendaal, Zinsberger, van Domselaar
2.Houghton, Scott, Veje, Rafaelle, Fox
3.Tracy, Mitchell, Wubben-Moy
4.Ludlow, Kinga, Sampson, F Williams, Arnth, Patten
5.Flaherty, Stoney, Henning, Beattie, Codina
95:00 - Gabriel Martinelli’s winner for Brazil (95:00) is the latest winning goal in normal time of the knockout stages of the FIFA World Cup on record (since 1966).
Timely.
