I read a shit ton of books and other stuff (mostly fanfic), so people automatically assume I’m good at writing and spelling. I have to break the news to people like I’m telling them their dog died that, no I cannot spell for shit.
So… the idea is, basically, when you already have your outline/plan, but the notion of actually clothing it with 100,000 words fills you with dread, maybe try writing a sort of ‘draft zero’: not full scenes, but around 500 word-like ‘crux’ moments of each scene you’ve planned.
