@anders_aslund The only way Ukraine and Russia can settle the war is to fight on the battle field. What needs to be done is to provide Ukraine with modern arms, air defenses supplied by European countries and the US as well.

Indeed, not only Trump and Vance but also Bessent have proven themselves to be awful with regard to Ukraine.
Bessent's original draft of the minerals agreement was pure colonial robbery, but Zerlensky saw it and said no.
The US needs to restore a decent government.
