Tucked away in Gullane’s main street, a small, white vintage sign rocks gently in the breeze above a distinctive wooden door. The large window seems to unearth an Aladdin’s Cave of antiquity that is spilling out from the inside of the shop. All types of mashies, niblicks, putters, drivers and persimmons purposefully laid out to catch the eye of passing golfers. Boris Lietzow is a man who embraces golf, and in particular the specialism of hickory.

Been flagged to @CalMacFerries @CalMac_Updates on multiple occasions and I believe it is an issue across the network that they just never sort! Should be an easy fix to say here are the sailings, please contact the local office to book but no, just keep everyone in the dark!

@CalMac_Updates it’s 4:20pm on Wednesday and you haven’t yet deigned to tell us what ferries you plan on running to mull from Thursday-Sunday. On the app it looks like there aren’t any. Whatever boats you have, put the sailings up, otherwise it looks like the whole place is shut.
