Behind these figures are families struggling to access healthcare, quality education, safe housing, and other essential services.
On this International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, TJNA calls for fairer tax systems, stronger action against illicit financial flows, and greater accountability in the management of public resources.

@chenaimukumba at @TaxJusticeAfric are rolling out anti-IFF pokicy tracker, initially conceived with @FinTrCo work aligns, and we could roll it elsewhere in the world. The institutional capacity of states to tackle IFFs needs to be monitored, strengthened . #EndingEraofSecrecy

@AdrianFalco1 from @latindadd says that we have in LAC both an @OECDtax led process of information exchange in the Punta Del Este Declaration, but now we also have new spaces for fiscal governance with he PT-LAC and UNTC to go further in info exchange, financial transparency.
@AdrianFalco1 from @latindadd : financial transparency is important to mobilise public resources and end IFFs. We are told there are no resources for public services, and austerity is inevitable. But transparency enables taxing the rich and denounce state capture, elite capture.
