Just had a really fun talk with Alan Seawright of Cinema Therapy on YouTube. Check it out. It’s VERY WELL cut. And yes they use FCP.
After the show he walked me thru the YouTube analytics and what they all mean. SUPER interesting.

For those watching… I’m really enjoying the people and chats we’re having on The Grill. Thank you for all the support… technical, moral and even financial support. I hope you know how much I want avoid all the dumb “YouTube ads”.
Back in about 2012-2014 there was rumors that Apple was losing engineers and programmers to BlackMagic.
They were disillusioned by Apples policies and left to work on Resolve.
I’d love to talk to someone who did that.
Anyone? Got any tips for me?
@WorkElizab I recently learned that if the cost to repair reached 80% of the value… they total it. Too many gotchas can pop up as they pull it apart.
This happened to my wife’s car.
What kind of car is/was it.
Maybe in another world there would be a budget for a TD and enough talented humans so I don’t need to do it all. We’ll see how the donation segment goes in the future.
Anyway… thx for watching everyone.
I’m doing the “I don’t want to do post” post production on my latest episode and realized something… while I’m doing interviews I’m also “teching” The Grill. It clearly makes it look like I’m not completely focused on the guest. It’s kind of rude… and I apologize for that.
Hey @Apple… just a thought.
If you ever get around to making that Audio Mixer for Final Cut… buy Waves Audio plug-ins and make them all available in Final Cut for free.
You can still sell them to the audio mooks. We’ll allow it.
I’m NOT. A “YouTuber”! I swear!!! But their analytics are fascinating to examine. I think this graph lends some credibility to my personal sustain toward the iPad.
