Procrastinating finishing my kindle arc #Hysterical by @amberdeanauthor.bsky.social all day because I only have an epub and I can’t read it on my kobo…. worst part is I actually really was loving the novel and couldn’t stop reading it until I set up the kobo. Too much eye pain
1/2 Just was given a new @kobo ereader for Xmas and it may be my new favourite thing. I’ve been reading arc’s on my iPhone with kindle and kobo apps for the past year and it works. I didn’t know how much my eyes hurt and the amount I strained them daily just to read until today.
@hmdpublishing It is my ideal beginning to any day. Unfortunately, the good book part is the hardest part of the equation. Any suggestions, speculative, horror or feminist fiction and nonfiction suggestions are always welcome. I also can’t say no to apocalyptic fiction, ideal start to my day!
What is your idea of a perfect Saturday morning? Mine is being able to read outside with my cats by myself for an hour. Was finishing #Bunny and let’s just say the twist ending was beyond shocking, frightening + unexpected yet believable. It was so perfect. excited for sequel.

@StephenKing This is the one book I own but haven’t read yet. I have a rule, I can’t watch the movie before I read the book because I don’t want to stunt my imagination or make things less frightening by Hollywood CGI, F/X, Props, costume designs, etc.
Dehumanization and violence against others in society and become complicit because of our acceptance of authority regulations and give them power over us. Using a religious sanctuary for women as an example.
I am consistently impressed by @AgusBazterrica’s books. Tender is the Flesh demonstrated the power of language to normalize horrific actions and sanction and promote the dehumanization of certain groups.
The Unworthy is speculative apocalyptic horror suggests we accept the
@ChellMoulton I read Tantrum and absolutely loved it. It was even funnier because my newborn daughter has a forked tongue from certain angles (because it’s so short), sleeps with one eye open and wakes up at witching hour every morning without fail. We joke she’s our demon baby
So recently discovered that losing your phone means locking yourself out of all social media accounts and email services. Two-step verification required my phone to unlock everything! I couldn’t get codes because to open my email I needed my phone to get any codes without email
