Just read the article, the stock price will be 5:1 split of whatever huts stock price is day of merger. Just with a larger maker cap, congrats, hut shareholders get diluted 600 million lol. Do you get it yet?

The shares of the other company are being transferred to shares of $HUT which means market cap goes up but price stays the same. Except you have a bunch of people with shares of a company they didn’t invest in originally 📉

$HUT 5-1 reverse split, they know the price is gonna go to the floor and avoiding the spilt at a later date. $HIVE also did this a while back. Not a fan of reverse splits along with new merger 📉

I’d expect other miners to reverse split in near future too
