Anglo American PLC has agreed to acquire Canada's Teck Resources Ltd, creating a ~$50 billion company representing one of the biggest mining deals in over ten years. Anglo will pay 1.3301 for each Teck share which represents a 17% premium on yesterday’s (08 Sept) closing price.
