Banner at Ethiopian military parade today in a message to Eritrea:
“Whether they love us or hate us, we will not live landlocked.”
Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed was present at the parade.
Today in Addis Ababa, I was honored to meet with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to reaffirm the enduring partnership between our nations. We emphasized the importance of Ethiopia's engagement with its neighbors and its role in fostering peace and regional stability, a key priority of President Trump. We also discussed a range of commercial opportunities that advance mutual prosperity for the United States and Ethiopia.
@elonmusk How it’s possible to compare 350 million people’s electricity demand with 1.45 billion people’s power consumption demands. At least take a moment and think about it before comparing supply amounts.
@Jawar_Mohammed The Black Market’s Persistence Does Not Necessarily Indicate Manipulation.
The fact that the Parallel market rate increased after the auction does not necessarily prove intentional manipulation, it could reflect uncertainty as agents adjust to price fluctn. volatility is expected
On the morning of May 8th, the Abiy regime launched offensives in Jaldu (West Shawa) and Adami Tulu (East Shawa). Both offensives were routed with over 75 regime fighters being neutralized.

Emperor Menelik II's reign was drenched in blood and marked by pogroms.
In Oromia, Menelik's army butchered Oromos and laid the region to waste.
They gouched out eyes, cut off breasts, speared pregnant women.
The Fano's imperial blood lust fits a long established pattern.
We are glad to announce that S.Res.669 was voted on and successfully passed out of Committee. Those that use hunger as a weapon of war should remember Charles Taylor, Slobodan Milošević, and the long list of despots who thought they could outlast justice. @POTUS@AsstSecStateAF
In reality, Oromo Liberation Army units are approaching Finfinne/Addis Ababa/, Ethiopia's capital. We believe the Oromo Liberation Army plans to totally encircle and besiege Addis Ababa, which is around 20 miles from the city center.

An assessment of the present conflict between Abiy loyalist troops and the Oromo Liberation Army(OLA) reveals that Abiy's loyalist forces' five-week counteroffensive against an OLA battalion encamped and operating much to the north and northwest of Addis Ababa failed.
The large operation was designed to evict Oromo Liberation Army forces from many towns and areas where the OLA both operated and held, Those forces, obviously, have not done a very good job in terms of the operational aims and objectives that were launched five weeks ago.
#At this very salient moment we're confident enough to underscore that all #Oromo people are #Oromo_Liberation_Army. It wasn't easy to get here, it won't be easy to get there too. It needs more determination and courage. Let's go forward together!
