The average retirement age is 65.
The average life expectancy for men is 75.
That means we work for 45 years, to enjoy ten if we are lucky.

Got a gift card for a local restaurant from a group of co-workers. Probably enough for like 4 times. As someone who tries to not waste money on restaurants, this will be a nice change of pace
The official high today in the Twin Cities? +1 F. That was the temperature when we rang in the new year back at midnight. -5 F is as close as we have gotten since that midnight high. Good news though, we'll have a chance of cracking the freezing mark with highs on Tuesday! #mnwx

- Savings accounts are still a waste of time
- Investing is still the best way to build wealth

@LivinRentFree_ I am in the index fund role primarily. What I was saying is that so many on Twitter talk about real estate/building a business as a side hustle. I find that many people don't desire to do both. Hope that makes my statement clearer. Happy New Year to you!
@RV_on_FIRE Congratulations. We have discussed traveling a lot in retirement but an RV is a definite no for my wife. Probably will go the short term rental route
