British Gas customers can also get support with any energy related issues they are currently having.

This is a free event open to anyone in Inverclyde regardless of their energy supplier and we hope to see as many people as possible on the day.

Financial Fitness are hosting a free Energy event this Thursday between 1pm and 3pm in our office at 40 West Stewart Street, Greenock.

British Gas Energy Trust Advisors will be able to support attendees with energy efficiency advice, help understanding bills and benefits checks.

as well as providing free energy saving devices and signposting to further services.

They will also be on hand to support people experiencing energy debt whilst there is the potential for people to get up to £1,700 toward any energy debt they may have.

As of 4th November '24, Carers Support Payment (CSP) has replaced Carers Allowance (CA) across Scotland, including Inverclyde.
New claims for CA won't be accepted by DWP and existing CA clients will continue to transfer over to CSP, with all clients transferred over by Spring '25
