@sorryparker He didn’t heal himself. His hatred made him hold on until his brother found him. Yes, you should watch “the clone wars” if you want to know what happens with Maul. In Rebels you see his final death.

@sorryparker He was cut in half and survived by his pure hatred for obi wan. His brother finds him ... eventually he becomes a crime lord. That stuff happens in clone wars. In Rebels we see him as some hermit on malachor. Ecentually he finds obi wan and he kills him. Hope this helps

@saucissonsec They had “creative differences” while directing it. Reportedly they wanted to make something different and not authentic to Star Wars and deviated from the storyline the Kasdan’s wrote. So they got fired. In the end credits they are noted as: executive producers.
