I don't watch football but as an MMA fan one thing I understood thematically about the movie as an MMA fan that you will to is the sport cycle of how the young feed off the strong. It's definitely portrayed and it's a reality thats tied into the uncomfortable absurdism well.
Just watched HIM (2025). Let me know what u thought.
I liked it overall. Divisive movie with mixed thoughts. My main gripe was the ending. The world roots itself in a silly yet 'grounded' world and the ending is absurdist and out of nowhere and wild. Great acting and visuals.6.5
@camlibelive There really needs to be a Netflix documentary about the rivalry between these two and the subsequent friendship that developed. Would be so interesting.
@WalnutMMA I used to main hop between Pip, Mal'damba, and Makoa the most probably. Played a lot of Moji. Went through a Willow phase toward the end. Fernando too.
Went through a HUGE Paladins phase with my friends before we just got tired of it.
I can’t get this out of my mind.
Jiří Procházka made the sign of the cross before trading nasty shots with Khalil Rountree Jr.
It felt like a genuine “Fuck it, I’m going all in” moment.
This was hands down the worst game mode breakdown I’ve ever seen. Nothing about online, nothing at all. Didn’t even mention it. Sack your entire marketing team.
I don't care what kind of faces or groans JDM makes. Showing weakness doesn't mean you aren't tough. Fighting through it does. He fought through it against Islam and Prates. Fighting through it also doesn't mean winning or being competitive btw.
Can't believe I gotta add those *
🤕🤣 Carlos Prates was saying sorry to JDM during the beating:
“He’s really tough. I said to him ‘Sorry, I don’t wanna hurt you, I just want a title shot.’ And he said ‘let’s go to the end.’ And I was like ‘Damn bro, he’s tough.’”
