@fivesolatyler@EvanPaul05 What's more, @fivesolatyler your stance displays a misunderstanding of your own POTS doctrine... you will only "persevere" if you were truly one of the chosen... Calvin based his teaching on the Parable of the Sower... give it a read...
@fivesolatyler@EvanPaul05 It is impossible for a Calvinist to have "assurance" of your salvation. Calvin called this "evanescent" grace. You can't know until you stand before Christ if he chose you.
@Be_Like_JChrist@EvanPaul05 Unfortunately your position is not Calvinist theology... It's so funny when you folks say we don't understand Calvinism. Unless, you are going to try to redefine "sovereignty" yet again...
@EvanPaul05 Calvinism is far more deeply rooted in the philosophy of Athens than it is scripture folks. If you don't know that, you don't understand what you believe.
@CherylSchatz No they can't and what's more they, don't know if he loves them either... No Calvinist has assurance of salvation by default. Their faith could very well be "evanescent".
@SecretCityChez If you truly seek, you will understand that the Jesus of Mormonism is NOT the Jesus of the Bible. Your faith is true, I have no doubt. Your intention is pure assuredly... The object is misplaced my dear friend.
