1/5 Hey! We don't tweet much but were made aware there was some concern about the Super Bowl gathering last night...
We don't want to give a careless impression when it comes to our response to the ongoing pandemic. If it helps, in regards to the Super Bowl gathering...
2/5 Facemasks were required at all times, unless actively eating or drinking. Food was either served by masked/gloved individuals (i.e. no self-serve) or prepackaged (i.e. no communal bags of chips). Seating capacity was severely limited in comparison to past years...
3/5 Seats were socially-distanced (unless with your 'home unit') and spanned an auditorium (that, pre-pandemic, could seat 715 but whose capacity was capped at 50 for our purposes last night) and 6 classrooms (that, combined, could seat appx 130 socially-distanced people)...
4/5 Given a socially-distanced capacity of appx 180, we were easily--and hopefully healthily--able to accommodate the appx 75 who attended. We completely respect differences of opinion that exist right now about "who" and "how" and "when" etc anyone should gather...
5/5 ...we apologize for giving any impression of carelessness or flippancy in regards to the ongoing health crisis! We'd be more than happy to field questions in DMs. Blessings, and continued prayers for wisdom and health and cooperation in a difficult season.
While we may not be able to gather and worship at Revive as we customarily would at this time, we are confident that each and every one can find opportunities to both implore and praise God right where they're at...!
Keep praying. Seek the Lord.
