Dear all,
This is not the time to cover for friends who lie to their parents or partners about their whereabouts. Please don’t do it. The country is not as safe as it used to be, and this is not a meme or a joke.
If an adult chooses to lie and tell people they are coming to your place when they are actually going somewhere else, do not allow yourself to be used as a cover-up.
If anything unfortunate happens to them, you may find yourself unable to explain your way out of the situation. Nobody will be there to vindicate you.
Protect yourself. Let people be honest about where they are going and who they are with.
May Allah keep all of us safe, protect our loved ones, and return everyone home safely.
Āmīn.
I don’t have money to offer but I will report till your helper sees it
I will pray for you too, sending you lots of love, hugs and and prayers in this difficult situation 🥹🙏❤️
A lot is happening 💔💔💔
I stopped by to pray maghrib at a mosque at 49, Bola Street Ebute Metta and the imam announced that one of the members has a sick wife battling cancer and they need monetary support. I took a picture of the account number written on the board. Please whoever can should donate and share.

If this appears on your timeline, kindly assist with a donation or at least a retweet.
Fawaz needs ₦12 million for his surgery within the next two months. Every minute counts towards the deadline, and every donation and retweet brings us closer to the goal.
No amount is too small — your support can make a real difference.
Thank you for your kindness and for sharing.
May God reward you abundantly.
More Things I Found Surprising in Medina
1. Many people in Madinah assume every Black person is from Nigeria. Often, the first question you’ll be asked is, “Are you Nigerian?”
2. Hausa is widely spoken in Madinah. It’s even used in passing information to pilgrims alongside other languages.
3. I was surprised to see a picture of former Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, inside the Prophet’s ﷺ Museum.
4. I met several security personnel in Madinah who speak Hausa. When they see a Nigerian or a Black person, they often speak Hausa first or ask if you are Hausa.
5. In Jannat al-Baqi (first cemetery in Islam), four of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ are buried close to one another. I saw their graves with my own eyes.
6. Uber is cheaper in Madinah than in Mecca, and locations are easier to find on the app compared to Mecca.
7. African/Nigerian food is more expensive in Madinah than in Mecca.
8. Unlike Mecca, many historical sites in Madinah are not heavily renovated. Some are preserved in a more natural, original state from early times.
9. It is very difficult to enter the Rawḍah in Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Without booking in advance, entry can be nearly impossible. Alḥamdulillāh, I was able to enter and pray my last night Tahjud there (gist coming 🤭).
10. The people of Madinah generally appear more gentle and calm compared to those in Mecca.
I’m ₦84,000 away from completing my Nigerian Law School tuition.
Any support will bring me closer to being called to the Bar. 🙏⚖️

We Are Pleading… Don’t Let Them Down Today
First, to every single person who has been giving consistently — may Allah bless you abundantly. 🤲 Your support has kept widows fed and Qur’an students sustained throughout this Ramadan. You have truly been a source of hope.
But today, we are still struggling to meet the target.
Widows are waiting.
Students are depending on this feeding to break their fast.
We are humbly pleading — please don’t grow tired of doing good. Even the smallest amount matters. Your constant support is what keeps this going.
If you have given before, may Allah multiply it for you.
If you are yet to give today, please consider being part of the relief.
Let’s finish strong. Let’s not allow hunger to win.
