@MarkDRuss @manofasini @bookgeekrelg @sophie_pca @WoodbrookeUK Can we sometimes be talking about the same experience but have different interpretations of what it means? So many similarities between religious experience but different interpretations as to meaning.
@WoodbrookeUK @bookgeekrelg "As you learn from others, can you in turn give freely from what you have gained? While respecting the experiences and opinions of others, do not be afraid to say what you have found and what you value. Appreciate that doubt and questioning can also lead to spiritual growth"..etc
@StephenPetter2 @bookgeekrelg @WoodbrookeUK I thought of qf&p 2.23 earlier when reading #quakergodtalk "This is the point where secular language fails, for this cannot be spoken about at all: it can only be known." /2
@bookgeekrelg @WoodbrookeUK 4 me xperience is 1ary. Words needed mostly 2 talk about xperience 2 support others seeking it &/ or 2 xpress it if led 2 in mfw
@bookgeekrelg @WoodbrookeUK 4 me "God" and "what some people call god" are actually synonyms and mean the experience / stillness/"now". At "home means" w/ people who i think wd transl8 these words to stand for this experience w/o it jarring for them
