Men are suffering in silence especially those who have been abroad for more than 20 to 30 years and have now relocated to Nigeria.

If you have never been in the company of men over 50 years living alone in Nigeria while their family is abroad, you will not understand.

Do we retire so early in Nigeria or Oyinbo retire so late, apart from Academics position, retirement age is largely 60 years, it’s already 65 here & they’re proposing to increase to 67, even after retirement, Oyinbo will still find other private jobs to apply & work.

If it’s the will of Allah to live long, I’ll never work for a day after age 60.

Perhaps a Non executive director or Board positions but surely nothing that’ll demand my intellectual disposition.

Plan:
Age 60, retire to Igboora, “eating my pension in foreign currency” Olori ebi & be solving communal conflict, tell me a better way to retire.
