After a choppy trip on Lake Victoria, we visited the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and learned about current research projects German Universities are engaged in there: ‘How chimpanzees work together to solve complex problems’.
Then visited our link school on Kome Island, Miyende Primary school and saw the concrete we funded with our fundraising for their school classrooms floor. It has arrived and will be laid next week.
Last morning sunrise at The Discovery Centre (DC) before visiting Nuvila Primary School and viewing the remedial building works our students’ fundraising is funding.
Following the excellent serving example of Ugandan students to their teachers, Mr Bishop and Mrs Gosal were served breakfast by two of our wonderful students this morning. 👍

An afternoon drive to Itanda Falls, (possibly the most beautiful, hidden place on Earth), then twilight yoga as the sun sets, followed by bonfire games 🔥 and a cultural talent show and roasting marshmallows and goat … all shared with new friends.
Fun with local primary children doing crafts and sports this afternoon before completing The Challenge Course. This was followed by a dusk walk up the hill to see the sun setting.
