@971theticketxyt Results matter… and the results aren’t there. Disrespectful? That terms gets thrown around way too much in Detroit sports right now. How about- work hard, be humble, accept responsibility when things aren’t working, and try to get better
@NatSparbeck At least Campbell’s man enough to call a turd a turd. Wallflower Brad likes his guys and will do nothing to help the team he’s responsible for helping.
@HonoluluBlues_ Hire a white haired man named Doc to Build a Time Machine out of a Delorian. Go back to the start of free agency. Address the secondary- which was a very clear need then and clearly still is now.
@AtoZ_Payton Wallflower Brad makes no calls. His ego will not let him resort to doing something like that… something so low as to inquire about players from other teams. Wallflower Brad stands pat… smugly smiles and wins the battle in his head. His ego prevails. His team suffers
@HonoluluBlues_ “We like our guys.” Holmes- No need to address the secondary- even though they are completely outmatched out there. At what point does a blatant need become a priority? The Lions can’t hide their bad secondary- it is exposed over and over. This is painful to watch
@newsinvesting That would mean $SPMI would have to become pink current so that they could be a tradable OTC stock again. They are currently on the Expert market and have been for a while. One has to wonder why they hold shareholder meetings year after year yet refuse to get OTC current?
@the_det_times Moss has more ambition than Brad Holmes when it comes to addressing the Lions current defensive woes. Moss… I tell ya. Do you hear that creak? That’s the Super Bowl window closing
@MiFBNetwork Better question- what now, Brad Holmes? He’s the only one with the power to make the changes that this defense desperately needs… and it will take more than practice squad guys that weren’t good enough to make an active NFL roster
@That1LionsFan If not Porter Jr, then who- Brad? Who? Too essy to be hesitant and find excuses… but doing nothing while this defense resembles Swiss cheese in a deli is damn near negligent. We aren’t witnessssing 3D chess- we’re witnessing Wallflower Brad with no guts
@That1LionsFan It was the pass rush in past seasons. Then, depth of the O-line. Now, it’s the secondary. A refusal to address any of these needs have cost the Lions wins. At what point do you make decisions that are difficult in order to address current needs that the whole world can see ?
@AdamSchefter The real back story is that the Lions are too hesitant, too in love with their own guys, and too often fail to address glaring needs. Even when the whole world sees a deficiency in their lineup- they stand pat and do nothing. The Lions know one thing well- how to lose
@JimCosta_ Fire Holmes. Why trade for a proven NFL talent… when you can save your picks to trade up and overreach for guys no one has on their draft board… that rarely pan out. The Lions often think they know more than anyone… and they do… they know more about losing than anyone
@AtoZ_Payton Holmes rarely trades for a viable in-season player? We have the worst secondary in football and the reports before this trade were insane. The Lions hope injury prone and inconsistent Rakestraw is the answer instead? A 2nd & 6th are too much to give up? Fire Holmes
@HonoluluBlues_ How hard is this? Trade a second round pick and go get him. Holmes- you trade draft picks like they are candy to move up and overreach to draft mediocre talent. Here’s a stud for a second round pick and you have the cap space. Get it done.. before the cowboys do
