“We are looking forward to this weekend’s Semi Final. We feel the team has been on a very good run barring the Renfrew match, in which we still played very well.
In terms of this Saturdays match we know it is going to be extremely difficult with Vale of Clyde taking a couple of big scalps in this cup including Hurlford United and Caledonian Braves. We need to be very aware of the strengths of Vale of Clyde and try and exploit any weaknesses they may have. We have done our homework on them and have been to watch them playing league matches as well as getting reports from other clubs.

We would ask the Cumnock fans to turn up in their numbers on Saturday to support the team. This group of players have given everything to the club this season, it is a really good group of boys and we hope as many come out and back them on Saturday at Townhead.

We know how tough a competition the South of Scotland Challenge Cup is it would a huge achievement to get to the final and I hope the fans support can carry us into the final”
