Finloop Collaborates with Anchorpoint and QFPay HK on Hong Kong Payment Applications for the Regulated HKD Stablecoin HKDAP 🎉 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that our subsidiary Finloop Finance Limited (“Finloop Finance”) has entered into a tripartite collaboration with Anchorpoint Financial Limited ("Anchorpoint"), a Hong Kong-licensed stablecoin issuer, and QFPay Haojin Fintech Limited ("QFPay HK"), a leading digital payment service provider in Hong Kong. As part of the collaboration, Finloop Finance and QFPay HK have completed a payment transaction using HKDAP, Hong Kong's regulated HKD-backed stablecoin, demonstrating its application within local payment and settlement processes.

Anchorpoint is among the first licensed stablecoin issuers by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority under the Stablecoins Ordinance. As an authorised distributor of HKDAP via Beta Access, Finloop Finance can provide HKDAP subscription, redemption, exchange, trading and settlement services.

Working together, Finloop Finance and QFPay HK have developed a digital asset payment solution that allows merchants to accept HKDAP and other compliant digital assets, while maintaining their existing HKD settlement workflow. The collaboration provides a foundation for further exploration of HKDAP within local payment activities.

Cai Hua, CEO of Finloop, said: “Teaming up with Anchorpoint and QFPay HK is a key move for Finloop in taking the HKDAP ecosystem into real commercial use. We not only provide compliant conversion and liquidity support, but are also committed to extending the stablecoin value into everyday transactions and enterprise payments. Going forward, we will continue to improve the transaction experience and work with partners to explore HKDAP deployment in more practical scenarios, so that compliant digital assets genuinely serve real-world commercial needs.”

Will Leung, Co-Founder and General Manager of QFPay HK, said: “This collaboration goes beyond simply adding another payment method — it marks a meaningful expansion of QFPay's payment infrastructure capabilities. By joining forces with Anchorpoint and Finloop, we aim to provide Hong Kong's retail and cross-border commerce landscape with yet another compliant payment option, furthering the long-term growth of the local digital asset ecosystem.”

Dominic Maffei, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Anchorpoint, said: " The development of tokenised money depends not only on regulatory certainty and technological innovation, but also on how easily it can be accessed and used within everyday payment processes. Through this collaboration, HKDAP can be integrated into established payment workflows in a practical and compliant manner, helping to broaden access to regulated digital money for businesses and consumers alike. We look forward to working with Finloop Finance and QFPay HK to support broader access to and adoption of regulated tokenised money in Hong Kong."

Finloop Supports Issuance of the First Tokenised Note Product with Subscription, Redemption and Interest Payments in HKDAP 👏 👏

We are proud to announce our support for the issuance of the first tokenised note product that allows subscription, redemption and interest payout in HKDAP, a regulated HKD stablecoin issued by Anchorpoint Financial Limited. The tokenised product is offered to professional investors,  providing a more efficient way to manage cash and liquidity on-chain, and greater flexibility in digital wealth management.

👀 The transaction was supported through two subsidiaries within Finloop:
·      Finloop Finance Limited ("Finloop Finance"), a financial institution licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and an authorised distributor of HKDAP, offering subscription, redemption, exchange, trading and settlement services for HKDAP; and
·      Finloop Finance Technology Services Limited ("Finloop Technology"), which served as the tokenisation agent, providing technology service.

📌 Fosun International Asset Management Limited serves as the investment adviser to the product issuer. Leveraging its global asset allocation experience and risk management capabilities, it will provide professional advice on investment strategy and asset allocation.

📈 The tokenised note product expands the range of on-chain use cases for HKDAP, demonstrating how regulated stablecoin can be integrated to support a broader spectrum of investment and wealth management activities.

Cai Hua, CEO of Finloop, said: “Supporting HKDAP subscription for a tokenised note product is a key step in our effort to take RWA (real-world asset) tokenisation and stablecoins into real commercial use. We aim to give eligible investors a more efficient and clearer path—along with an improved cash management experience—across core processes such as subscription, redemption and receiving returns. Leveraging our tokenisation services and wealth technology capabilities, Finloop will continue to drive regulated stablecoins to truly serve the real economy.”

Dominic Maffei, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Anchorpoint, said: "The intrinsic value of tokenisation is not simply creating digital versions of traditional assets, but enabling those assets to operate within a fully digital financial ecosystem. This transaction showcases how HKDAP can support tokenised note product throughout their lifecycle, from subscription to redemption and payment distribution. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Finloop to help regulated stablecoins better serve institutional cash and liquidity management needs, and support a wider range of real-world financial applications."

Finloop Supports BitFuFu to Launch BTC-Denominated Hashrate Token (HASH)

We are thrilled to announce that Finloop has teamed up with BitFuFu Inc. (@BitFuFuOfficial) (NASDAQ: FUFU), a global Bitcoin mining and mining services company, to launch Hashrate Token (HASH), a tokenized note product designed to provide eligible investors with exposure to Bitcoin ("BTC")-denominated returns generated from Bitcoin mining activities.

Hashrate Token (HASH) is an on-chain note product linked to the economic output of Bitcoin mining activities supported by professionally deployed and managed mining infrastructure. The structure provides investors with exposure to Bitcoin mining without requiring them to directly manage or invest in mining hardware, infrastructure or operations, with profit distributions recorded on-chain for transparency and verification. Its BTC-denominated structure allows returns to remain in BTC, reducing the need for currency conversion during the investment period. The Hashrate Token (HASH) is only available to certain eligible investors, subject to applicable investor qualification, jurisdictional, KYC/AML and other legal and regulatory requirements.

As the tokenization agent, Finloop provides token issuance technology and infrastructure through its proprietary FinRWA Platform (“FRP”), which supports token lifecycle and investor management, including token minting, burning, and transfers. Finloop supports the project across product structuring, compliance frameworks, and cross-chain integration.

Leo Lu, Chairman and CEO of BitFuFu, said, “We are pleased to collaborate with Finloop to bring BitFuFu’s Bitcoin mining capabilities to broader financial markets through a tokenized structure, while contributing to the continued financialization of the Bitcoin mining industry. HASH provides eligible investors with BTC-denominated economic exposure linked to Bitcoin mining output, while leveraging on-chain infrastructure for greater transparency and accessibility. This initiative represents another step in expanding the applications of our mining capabilities across the broader digital asset ecosystem and exploring new opportunities for business growth.”

Cai Hua, CEO of Finloop, said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with BitFuFu to launch a pioneering RWA product in Hong Kong linked to Bitcoin mining hashrate, addressing the asset allocation needs of Bitcoin investors through an on-chain structure. This also enriches our RWA product offerings, allowing us to serve clients while ensuring compliance and establishing a more comprehensive RWA ecosystem. Finloop looks forward to collaborating on RWA projects with leading global enterprises, and we are actively connecting with global liquidity to solidify Hong Kong’s role as a super connector.”

Finloop and HKU-SCF FinTech Academy (@HKUniversity ) Launch a Market Demand Study on “Tokenised Deposits and HKD Stablecoins” 🎉 👀 👀

📌 Interested institutions are invited to register by email at [email protected]

Finloop and HKU-SCF FinTech Academy today announced the launch of a joint study on “Tokenised Deposits and HKD Stablecoins: Use Cases and Market Demand”, with surveys and scientific analysis covering institutions across four key sectors: trade, payments, asset management and banking.

This study is Hong Kong’s first landmark project to comprehensively cover four institutional categories and systematically quantify market demand for tokenized deposits and the HKD stablecoin. It aims to provide regulators and government with forward-looking, evidence-based policy recommendations, help Hong Kong build a world-leading digital currency and Web3.0 ecosystem, and reinforce its strategic position as an international fintech hub.

Hong Kong’s digital currency ecosystem is entering a new phase of practical adoption. Following the implementation of the regulatory regime for stablecoin issuers under the Stablecoins Ordinance on 1 August 2025, the business of issuance of fiat-referenced stablecoins is a regulated activity in Hong Kong and a licence is required. On 10 April 2026, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) granted stablecoin issuer licences to Anchorpoint and HSBC for issuing stablecoins in Hong Kong.

Market estimates generally put the global stablecoin market capitalisation above US$300 billion, with the two major US dollar stablecoins, USDT and USDC, accounting for 80% of the market. As of March 2026, 13 tokenised products were offered to the public in Hong Kong, with the assets under management of their tokenised classes increasing around seven-fold to HK$10.7 billion over the past year.

The study aims to address the current gap in market demand data. Using USDT and USDC as benchmarks, the research will examine the views of institutions across the four sectors regarding the use cases, costs and efficiency, compliance and risks, areas where further policy clarity would help, and future market size of tokenised deposits and HKD stablecoins. The questionnaire covers seven major areas, including institutional background, level of awareness, use cases, costs, compliance, policy clarity and market expectations. It also includes quantitative market-sizing questions, with the aim of providing a verifiable data foundation for estimating the potential scale of the industry. All data will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for research and analysis in anonymous and aggregated form. No information identifying individual institutions will be disclosed.

🌐 How to Participate
The study is now open to institutions in the trade, payments, asset management and banking sectors.
📌 Interested institutions are invited to register by email at [email protected]
Participating institutions will receive priority access to the research report summary and invitations to a dedicated launch event.
