Makes such a big impact on so many people - especially young athletes who look up to the elites - when a big name is so open like this.
Were long past the point of needing to raise awareness. Time for NGB’s and big clubs to acknowledge their responsibilities in tackling this.
Last night was our inaugural Kenny Stevenson Memorial Trail Race. This route around Blanefield was a favourite of Kenny’s, so we invited runners across the DAAA to take part in his honour. Thanks to all the runners and supporters 💙 #running#trailrace#trailrunning
She came 6110th, how insecure do you have to be to complain about the fact that someone running in the correct gender category came 6110th in a race of over 48000 people?
🔴 A leading Olympian has said it was “wrong and unfair” for Glenique Frank, a biological male identifying as a woman, to have been allowed to compete in the female category of the London Marathon.

A blow for British cycling. 😔
The Women's Tour will not take place this year after organisers failed to find the funding required for the race.

Whatever your view on the fairness of trans athletes competing in whatever category they identify as, to completely ban them from competing is a horrific solution. Do better @WorldAthletics
It is so disappointing to see World Athletics announce a unilateral ban on trans women in track and field events.
Their own statement recognises that there are no trans women competing at an international level and that they have no specific evidence to justify the ban.

I am running this year's Great Scottish Run and as I always do when I run this event I am running for charity. This year, I will be raising money for Mind. I know how tight money is at the moment, so any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

@LDNFrontrunners@glasgowfrontrun@scotathletics That's awful, I'm so sorry that you have had to go through that sort of horrific transphobia. I didn't get any of this on the day as I was assigned male at birth, thus nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary for onlookers and competitors
Yesterday I made history, the first ever non-binary person to run the @scotathletics National Cross Country Championships, thus making me the National Champion. However.... 1/4
Important thread here from Finn on their experience of running in the non binary category in a @scotathletics Championship race. Half hearted inclusion so disheartening.
(P.s. congrats Finn 👏)
To clarify, if there were no NB option, I would run as male. But @scotathletics promised me something very simple and didn't deliver. Non-Binary people are not an afterthought to be put in brackets, and we are not a box ticking exercise. I expected more. I am upset and furious
Don't promise me something you aren't going to fulfil. Not asking for much, just asking you to give me what you said you would. I am Non-Binary, I entered as such under the impression this was an option. Judging by everything I have learnt since the 24/02 it's all a massive lie
