@MaryKostakidis Palestinian historians, political scientists, and analysts approach the issue of the Israel-Hamas relationship with rigorous historical documentation, rejecting conspiracy theories that portray Hamas as a "mere fabrication" or an "agent" of Israeli intelligence services.
@angeloinchina They even become party members. What is actually the case is that businesspeople are not permitted to use their wealth to challenge the authority of the Party. Far from being excluded, they are actually needed by the state for their advisory role.
@TrueOnX Resistance, yes! But let's be accurate and sincere. Where is the evidence that "they won"? I am searching and I haven't found anything looking like a win. Quite the contrary, unfortunately.
@futureghost327@sahouraxo You have no idea, have you? Institutions are not a government. They include governance but it's a much broader term. EU is a politcal institution, NATO is a military one. Elections are, too. But they are not governance. Bye. I ‘ve better things to do.
@futureghost327@sahouraxo The hard part is the first one (persuading). It’s hard ‘cause people have not lived in democracies, so they don’t know what you’re talking about. But if they do understand, they will fight for it.
@futureghost327@sahouraxo By ‘principals’ I don’t mean we will be professional politicians. I mean we the ordinary people will be giving the orders to our agents (= public servants) to implement our decisions. That was the democracy in ancient Athens. Happens tomorrow? No. It’s difficult, but achievable.
@futureghost327@sahouraxo So in order to achieve a change, first you explain to people what real democracy means and convince them that it IS achievable (by petitions for example) and that “electing” EQUALS NO democracy. Then all together DEMAND new institutions that guarantee that we’ll be the principals
@futureghost327@sahouraxo A plan? Ok.
1. People must realize that THEY should make the decisions, not politicians. This means no elections! If you vote for anyone (no matter who they are), you automatically give them the power to decide for you. Persuade family, friends, people to not do that!
@futureghost327@sahouraxo Where did you find such a claim in my answer? Do you read my answers at all? I am saying that elections ARE NOT EVEN COMPATIBLE WITH DEMOCRACY! This means NO F.. politicians! NO ELECTIONS! None! Me, you and the people must decide. NOT elected politicians!
