Tomorrow, between 1-4pm, is our Autumn Fayre, from the raffle with a £100 prize to a variety of stalls and games and a BBQ, hopefully there is something for everyone.
On Sunday we will be using a special communion service liturgy with different readings than those set as we reflect on Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II life.
Further plans will be worked on and shared as soon as they are firmed up.
Church is open today until 5.00pm for quiet reflection and prayer, and there is a book of condolence available.
Church will be open again tomorrow 10am until 1pm.
At 12.00 noon tomorrow the bells will be rung unmuffled for an hour to celebrate the announcement of our new King.

Remembrance Sunday (14th November)
Working with the Parish Councils, The Bluebell Pub and Hill House School this years Service of Remembrance will take place wholly at Blaxton War Memorial, beginning at 10:45am. There will be no service in church this year.
Just to let everyone know that the wall in the Finningley Churchyard to the rear lychgate as collapsed in a few places. We are aware, and the church wardens have it in hand.
This is due to the ivy, on the unowned land behind, pushing it forwards over many years.

We have made some small changes due to the current situation…
• Hand gel will be available as you arrive and on the tables.
• We are asking adults to wear masks (unless exempt) whilst they are moving around in church, and whilst singing. They can be removed whilst eating and drinking and seated at the tables.
