@JoannaKidman Meanwhile Wainuiomata is in a state of stress. Protesters are trying to occupy the marae, shop windows have been broken, campsites set up at the old boxing gym Cherie and I frequented and the Rimataka Forest Park. Police are flying over constantly. Not as bad as Wgn CBD though.

I struggle... why can an anti-mantate protest occupy Parliamemt Grounds but a climate change or iwi protest be actively moved on ... I support NZ Police but not the protesters who actively break the law by occupying streets but asking for a voice

Ok ... my brutal honesty. I agree with the NZ Police that police action against the protesters is not an option atm but why is it an option against tangata whēnua protests, youth protests and 1080 protests? And what precident does this give future protests
