It takes a lot to really shock me. I get pissed off about horrible things, but they don’t really shock me. This does. This paper in the Journal of Medical Ethics draws a comparison between female genital mutilation and “gender affirming” surgeries — and uses the latter as justification for the former.
To be clear: after pushing an entire generation of gay and autistic children to volunteer for genital mutilation, these people are using that as an excuse to cut up little girls‘ vulvas with neither consent nor the presence of a medical professional, let alone any kind of pain management.
And just like that, gender ideology has become justification for the most barbaric custom on planet Earth.

Almost five years ago, the Taliban announced that girls’ schools and universities would remain closed until further notice, and that no one was even allowed to question the decision.
Today, the Taliban announced the university entrance exam results. For the fourth consecutive year, not a single girl was allowed to take the exam.
To the world that constantly speaks about human rights—where are you? How much longer will this injustice continue?
Is the United Nations only there to issue statements and hold symbolic meetings? Where is the action?
A child has been sentenced to execution by hanging in Occupied Iran.
Diana Taherabadi is only 16.
The Islamic Regime dragged her out bed, confiscated her family's phones, and kidnapped her.
It takes a second for you to speak up. DO IT.
Melika Azizi is 18 years old. The regime wants her dead because she isn't afraid of them.
While the world slept, they raided her home. While they beat her in Lakan Prison, she held her head high. When the judge handed down a death sentence, she didn't beg for her life—she demanded justice for the fallen.
"How can I stay silent?" she asked.
We cannot be the ones who stay silent while they try to hang a teenager for her bravery. Silence is a death sentence. Noise is a lifeline.
ACT NOW: Save this post. Share it. Tag three friends who will help spread her name. We have to make the cost of executing her higher than the cost of letting her go.

The poor women of Afghanistan. I was at the UN (speaking on sport for women ) when the Taliban turned up & demanded all women be removed from the room for a meeting. The UN complied!
This is one of the most beautiful moments you will ever witness.
Sir Nicholas Winton helped 669 children — most of them Jewish — escape the Holocaust.
His humanitarian accomplishments would remain unknown and unnoticed by the world for nearly 50 years.
Then in 1988 he was invited to the BBC TV show That's Life!.
There he sat — unknowingly — as part of the studio audience, surrounded by the children he had rescued. They were now adults.
Then they surprised him with one of the greatest gifts of all time. Their presence.
They were there, all alive — because of him.
Not only was he reunited with dozens of children he had saved, but he was also introduced to many of their children and grandchildren.
Please remember Sir Nicholas Winton, for his humanitarian operation known as the Czech Kindertransport.
Sir Nicholas George Winton, a British stockbroker, and a gift to this planet, left us on July 1, 2015, at the age of 106.
May his memory forever be a blessing and inspiration to all.
Please share. International Holocaust Day cannot be forgotten. But many are working to make that happen.🕯️♥️
The Taliban have a truly brilliant plan for Afghanistan’s women: ban them from education past primary level, forbid them from universities, then slam the door shut on medical, nursing, and midwifery training as of late 2024. All while insisting that only female doctors & nurses can treat female patients, because decency and Islamic propriety demand strict gender segregation in healthcare.
Genius, really. What better way to “protect” women than to ensure that, within a few short years, there will be virtually no qualified Afghan women left to provide the very care their own rules require?
Male doctors cannot properly examine or treat women without risking violation of those same modesty rules and women often refuse or cannot access male providers anyway due to chaperone requirements and cultural barriers. So the Taliban have engineered a perfect catch-22: no male care allowed in practice and now no new female providers being trained either.
Existing female healthcare workers are ageing out, burning out, or fleeing the country if they can. Current female medical students were turfed out mid-training. Midwifery and nursing programmes, already scarce, are now closed entirely.
The predictable result? Skyrocketing maternal mortality, untreated gynaecological conditions, women dying in childbirth or from preventable complications because no female professional is available nearby and rural areas turning into death traps for half the population.
Yet the Taliban still claim this is all for women’s honour and protection. One might almost admire the sheer audacity of the hypocrisy, were it not costing thousands of lives. They have decided that female illiteracy, poverty and death are preferable to the horror of a woman learning how to read, work, or save another woman’s life.
It is not merely cruel, it is spectacularly self-defeating lunacy dressed up as piety.
The rest of the world watches, issues statements, and occasionally wrings its hands, while Afghan women pay the price for this masterclass in regressive logic.
The Taliban really are as stupid as they look.

Message from Afghan woman
Please read and share:-
Life for a woman in Afghanistan is beyond belief. Many people may know what is happening outside the home — but what happens inside, behind closed doors, is even worse.
We are forced to endure abuse from both husbands and mothers-in-law. I cook, clean, and wash all day, but I’m still mistreated. My husband beats me.
Once, my mother-in-law told him that I was secretly studying on my phone — and he took my phone away. I feel completely trapped.
Sometimes I think about ending my life, but when I look at my little daughter, I stop — for her. Still, I feel powerless.
Yet whenever my husband is not home, I study in secret.
I want to share my voice with the world.
Please read my message, support me, and be the voice for Afghan women.
BREAKING FROM INSIDE OCCUPIED IRAN:
A Commander's Daughter from inside the Islamic Republic’s repressive apparatus calls in. She speaks of fake passports, hidden dollars, sexual violence, and orders to kill.
THIS NEEDS TO GO VIRAL cc @ManotoNews
BREAKING: Erfan Soltani, a young Iranian arrested after Thursday’s protests and sentenced to death, was not executed yesterday thanks to massive international mobilization.
His family was told the execution had been postponed.
Now, Iran’s judiciary claims he was never sentenced to death at all.
This is Khamenei’s regime backing down under pressure.
KEEP SPEAKING UP FOR IRAN. It’s working!
In today’s letters to the Editor, Aisling Mullally – a primary school teacher from Dublin – writes that ‘childhood in our country is in a state of crisis’.
🚨🇮🇷 A MESSAGE FROM SOMEONE WHO JUST GOT OUT OF IRAN
A young Iranian guy just crossed from Iran into Turkey and recorded a message for the world.
He says people outside Iran have no idea how bad it really is.
Not arrests. Not beatings. Killings.
He says protesters are being shot straight in the chest. Not warning shots. Not accidents. Deliberate.
Over and over.
According to him, the death toll people see online is nowhere close to reality. Bodies disappear.
Families stay quiet. Fear fills the gaps.
People inside can’t speak. People outside aren’t seeing it.
That silence is doing a lot of work right now.
