@gillingham_jane Friends not only provide people with emotional support but they can provide a buffer from stress. Not to mention that a sense of isolation can lead to chronic stress. Fostering friendships is a great idea because it is a good way to reduce stress and improve well-being! #hkr1000
I am often in a good mood when I am listening to music. It is a simple relaxation technique that I incorporate into my daily routine. Making time to listen to music improves my mental health and well-being by allowing me to awaken my senses and engage in my emotions/mood.#hkr1000
@MacneilShelby I agree, stretching exercises are important. There are lots of simple movement stretches you can do anywhere, even at a desk and many stretches take very little time out of ones day. It is an accessible way to maintain physical fitness that I feel is often neglected. #HKR1000
When making dietary changes, one must consider affordability to promote long-term implementation. Many Canadians use the food guide as an outline and should be aware of more affordable, healthy options available to them to enable proper nutrition. #HKR1000 https://t.co/UUnamuII4v
@JannatulAlamSh2 Agree! service to others is 64% in Spiritual yet contributing to the community is 44% in Interpersonal, perhaps students prefer to be altruistic in a spiritual-centered manner rather than through social/community ties which could be bad for emotional and social wellness.#HKR1000
Flexibility scores are a low 47%. I believe flexibility is often ignored as an aspect of physical wellness. This is unfortunate considering it is useful in preventing injuries and improving mobility which are aspects of achieving and maintaining optimum physical wellness.#HKR1000
