@Tamarajatkin@titashalder No way! They’ve survived longer than anyone would have predicted… Having dream visions of a reunion filled with readings and bagels and wine xx
'In June, when the jewel climbs up
highest in the year into the heavens,
brightest of stars...
At that time the fairest of lights
likes to gaze longer upon the earth,
to move more slowly across the meadows.'

After 4 years at BASW, I start a new role as Deputy Director at Article 39 in June!
As a teenager I spent time in
unregulated care & mental health wards. To work for a charity which fights for the rights of children in these settings, who are so overlooked, means everything.
Looking forward to the Launch of #FiveLoavesOnFridays on Friday at @foundlingmuseum in Bloomsbury. I will be the MC with the editor! Proud to have my story in this anthology of care experienced authors.

Oh how the tables turn!
When I was 16, I came home to a letter on the kitchen table from my foster carer. It said I had four days to find somewhere else to live. Today, the book in which I write about this experience is pictured here on my own kitchen table. And it is OUT TODAY.
