The rainbows (aged 5-7) really enjoyed becoming Vikings for the evening! Next week I am visiting some Brownie units with an Archaeology Scotland toolkit! Super excited!

I felt so refreshed after and have been more motivated for my final exam! It’s like stepping into a different time space for a few hours away from the rest of the world. You really have to walk a landscape to really understand it!!
Such an important way of looking at archaeology! In the midst of exam stress I went on a tour of the burn bank prehistoric settlement with a group of ‘strangers’. It was a lovely day walking the landscape with like-minded people with different interests/perspectives
There’s something special about slowing down and discovering the stories around us. Whether walking old paths or exploring ruins, archaeology invites us to connect and reflect.
