Our 999 service is extremely busy today.
The teams in our emergency control rooms & out on the road will be prioritising those patients in a life-threatening condition.
This means that we will take longer to reach some patients than usual.
Please bear with us.
⚠️Fire Severity index(FSI) is remaining at Level 4, meaning a high risk of wildfires. With no rain forecast, this will remain for the rest of the week/weekend & into next week. Please do not have BBQs in forestry/heathland/park areas & ensure smoking materials are extinguished ⚠️
Fire Stations from across @Bucksfire today paid tribute to the ex Chief Fire Officer of Buckinghamshire, Jeff Goddard, who sadly passed away last week. Stations have been flying flags at half mast since last Wednesday in recognition his service to our communities from 1987 - 2004
Important warning from @NFCC_FireChiefs about the dangers of lighting sky lanterns, which can cause wildfires and serious damage to farms, livestock and the environment. There are many other ways to support our #NHSheroes

We know it's Bank Holiday.
But the best thing you can do for your NHS is to enjoy it from home with JUST your household.
Stay home, protect the NHS, save lives ✅
Sticking to the guidelines around social distancing and staying inside will help these hero’s save lives! Team 2 today popped by to drop off some ‘Hero’s’ cakes! Thank you, from all of us! #NHS#wecandothistogether#stayathome#savelives
