Just had an absolutely horrendous ferry ride from Santorini. I’m just ready to get to Rome tomorrow and have a few more weeks where I only have to be on land

@sapphicsunrise Yeah. Next time I would def rent a scooter or a car to get around a lot easier. But the weather was better weather than Alaska can get in the summer. So was perfect for walking long distances

@sapphicsunrise It was great! I caught the very tail end of it. By my last night there, a lot of things were closed down, so it got a little tricky to find a good dinner spot. but I was able to still do/see a lot before I left.

@sapphicsunrise It was so nice just getting lost on it. Walking around for a bit and then finding a bench to sit on for a bit. I can’t imagine it at 35c. The weather right now has been summer weather for me 😅

I think my favorite place in Athens so far has been the hill of the muses. I’ve gone everyday and have spent several hours a day working on writing/journaling

I hiked mount Vesuvius today and visited Pompeii. Needless to say a bucket list item was checked off.

I leave for Europe in less than a week! On one hand I’m super excited. On the other my anxiety is at like an 11 And I wish it was because I’ll be traveling for the first time out of the US alone. But nope. It’s because of the flying involved 🙃
