Dan Campbell was basically a 1 trick pony in Detroit. He did a nice job changing the culture with the ra-ra knee cap biting bravado stuff and the 4th down gambles. But at some point you need someone in there that knows what he’s doing.

Lions didn’t need to worry about the clock on that last drive, they just needed a TD. That’s a spot where so many coaches outsmart themselves. Instead of taking the most direct path to a win they stopped doing what’s been working the whole game. Oh well, still up by 15 though.
