Troopers from the MSP Mt. Pleasant Post are investigating a two-vehicle head-on crash that occurred around 7:25 a.m. this morning.
A 77-year-old male from Mt. Pleasant was traveling westbound on M-20 near S. Winn Rd. in a Ford F-150 when he lost control due to hazardous road conditions. The truck crossed the center line and struck a Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 31-year-old male from Clare.
The driver of the Equinox was transported to the hospital for nonlife-threatening injuries. The driver of the F-150 was transported with critical injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
