Last week we finished sampling the burnt plots!! We started at 1800m, among snow but enjoyed a warmish and sunny afternoon. With @caponte__ , Patricia Plaza and Ignacio Garcia (@INIA_es , @La_UPM)

Field season is on!! Sampling soils and roots of Pinus sylvestris that burnt last August in Navalacruz with Ana Rincon (@CSIC), Ignacio Garcia (@La_UPM) and @caponte__ (@INIA_es)

We launched @FireFungi_ a month ago and it´s been non-stop work since then! Kick off meetings, survey trips to the study area and getting everything ready for next week sampling. We are expecting some torrential rains over the weekend... ⛈️⛈️.. @Fuego_lab will the tracks hold??
