Now we have Steve Godfrey back on the team at Hodnet. That means there are now two AR3 trained personnel at Hodnet on-call aswel as Wellington whole-time and wellington on-call #firefighter#AnimalRescue@shropsfire

Last night we set up 4 scenarios for a new incident commander Tom Benbow to deal with. Car fire, afa, bin fire and house fire to help to prepare for real life scenarios. Thanks to the crew (and families) for there support as we started early and put a lot of effort in.
Took part in a multi agency response to a helicopter crash exercise at tern hill yesterday. Successfully extinguished fire and rescued 4 casualties, working with @SFRS_MDrayton@SFRS_Wellington@Capita_CFR and air ambulance. Then had familiarisation round a helicopter afterwards
10.14 mobilised by @SFRS_Control along with @PreesFire_SFRS to Market drayton for house fire, smoke issueing. Fire affecting front of property, 2 BA extinguished using 1 hrj, 2x BA ventilated property and 4 dogs rescued. Smoke alarms sounding so helped to alert delivery driver
Road traffic collision training last night. We were practising different cutting techniques for a car that rolled over. finished at 20.30 then had a follow on call-out from @SFRS_Control to house fire persons reported at Newport. This turned out to be false alarm good intent.
Tuesday evening found crews from @SFRS_MDrayton and @FireHodnet ๐๐ carrying out a risk visit to @ARRichardsLtd ๐ญ๐ Very useful visit, including familiarisation and demonstration of automatic fire detecting suppression system ๐ฅ๐ฆ Many thanks to @ARRichardsLtd for hosting us ๐๐ป

Too many incidents to list over the last few days. 27 last month and on average 4 to 5 a day for the last few days for hodnet and lots for Shropshire. Well done to @SFRS_Control and well done to all crews involved #alloneteam#hodnetwholetime
Mobilised at 19.07 by @SFRS_Control to fire in the open Eaton upon tern. Crews extinguished unattended bonfire using hose reel jet and new misting lance. Good to utilise new equipment
Last week 3 of Hodnet crew completed the 5 day initial FREC course which will be a great asset on station, on incidents and in the local community. Well done for completing this #firefighter#development#firstaid
