Great couple of weeks. Hazmat initial, supervisory & Gas Tight Suit courses delivered. Also attended the ‘Hotzone’ conference along with Fire, Police, Ambulance, Military and National Resilience colleagues. So pleased with ‘the Lab’ we created to enhance delegates learning.
SFRS has released a leaflet offering fire advice to farm workers & operators during harvest🚜
Machinery & vehicles can be vulnerable due to the nature of the work, long operating hours & when temperatures become excessive🔥

We’re aware of an issue affecting the national 999 call system this morning.
BT is working to resolve this as soon as possible. In a fire emergency, if you are unable to contact 999, please call 111, or 01480 444500.
We’ll keep you updated with any developments @SuffolkFire
Looking forward to tonight and attending the @FireHolbrook recruitment evening! Talking our keen candidates through the process and how you go from civilian to fire fighter in as little as 5 months! @SuffolkFire#recruitment#oncallfire#oneteam

Today marks two years since we lost our friend and colleague Rudie Mann. ♥️
This morning, colleagues across @SuffolkFire held a minute silence to mark the occasion.
RIP Rudie, always in our thoughts. 🚒
Tomorrow at 1100 @SuffolkFire will fall silent as a mark of respect for @fire_scot Firefighter Barry Martin, who sadly lost his life whilst fighting a fire at a department store in Edinburgh. Our thoughts are with Barry’s family, friends and colleagues. RIP FF Martin.
