The James Geddes Engine Company No. 6 is the only fire hall which remains of the several built in Nashville during the latter half of the nineteenth century, and was the last built to house horse-drawn fire equipment. #NFDhistory#NFDproud#NFDstrong#NFD
The second oldest fire hall that is still in use today is Station 16. The city purchased the property on July 16, 1929 and the building was completed the next year.
