two additional points on this part.
1. Burkina Faso is growing closer to both China and Russia more so than the US, so why the urge from US leftists to paint them as solely IMF pawns as opposed to unaligned/seeking self-determination? (we know why)
The most cowardly people you know see no promise in the Sahel alliance. On Burkina Faso alone, shouldn't "activists" in the US withhold judgement until the terrorists there (backed by the US and France) are defeated?
This is not to say that the Oakland BPP's approach was perfect or universally praised at the time. But it should push us to take on the more useful questions/debates we could be having right now. Black socialism vs Black businesses doesn't have to be fratricide.
They would call for their community to withdraw support from Black businesses that refused the freedom tax. Ultimately, that is where I think the debate needs to go. We, in 2026, are still lagging behind the 1960's with the current terms of debate.
In her book "The Revolution Has Come", Robyn Spencer explored how the BPP in Oakland demanded a freedom tax from local Black businesses, whom they would in turn support. The 'tax' was used for Panther institutions like the free clinic, newspaper, breakfast program, school, etc.
All that talk about merit and yet these mfs will do the absolute worst to trip you up. These DOGE depositions are an example of what black people have been telling folks in this country about. But no, mfs keep repeating that bootstrap rhetoric
I'm confused. You are saying that you are proud to have aided the US state department? Even telling us that it was a secret program. Y'all are abusing the culture doing dumb shit like that.
I shared some questions I have for @Dee1music & @MrChuckD on Wise Da Dome TV. Do y'all still work for the state department or nah?
