Exciting new paper in #Geology for a number of reasons: 1. Woodleigh is now potentially one of the largest impact craters in #Australia 2. The lead author is an incredibly talented undergraduate student @Morgan_ACX! This scientist is going places! https://t.co/y2XiJIpEiT
Excited to announce @CurtinUni@SpaceKatarina is 1 or 5 AU/NZ Women in Science for L'Oreal-UNESCO fellows! Hear how Kat's out-this-world planetary research helps @NASAInSight make sense of #Marsquakes & Martian #fireball ๐โ๏ธ๐ @CurtinMedia https://t.co/5UIEYMMZfX
Inspiring to see what these teams created over just a weekend! Gorgeous space science and engagement overlap ๐๐๐คฉ thanks for having us @SpaceAppsPerth!
Interested in how WA is strategically positioned to contribute to the future of space?
Premier @MarkMcGowanMP explored WA's future in the space industry at The Zone Above: The Indo-Pacific Era in Space conference. #ITZ2018

Excited to be involved with this year's In The Zone! Get juicy details on #SSA#FireOPAL (our DFN adaptation with @LockheedMartin) plus Planetary Perceptions of our Time exhibition (#collaboration@CurtinUni illustration students) sharing our current space science+tech research.
Professor Phil Bland, Director of the Desert Fireball Network, will be speaking at The Zone Above: The Indo-Pacific Era in Space conference on 8 October at @OptusStadium! @FireballsSky@CurtinUni
With less than two weeks to go, you can join us: https://t.co/WtFrDVz83j
Happy to showcase strong partnerships @AusSpaceAgency#ASRC18! Find out how blue-sky space science projects (our Desert Fireabll Network) rapidly translate into real benefits for Australian space industries, defence #FireOPAL@CurtinUni@LockheedMartin https://t.co/KDXlrFTBFc
Exploring Mars. Australian researchers @CurtinUni doing some really cool things with the NASA #MarsInsight Mission. This is how we inspire future generations and improve #STEM outcomes. Some of the great initiatives seen at #ASRC18
Cheers @GilloArvos for the chat and chance to thank our very active, wonderful #citsci public! It's incredible the support and to share the process of our world-class science to our community here in #Perth makes our research-hearts shine! https://t.co/UUuDHJBMBr @CurtinMedia
Citizen Science. The WA public playing a key role in helping @FireballsSky locate a potential meteorite after a fireball was seen late last week over WA. @GilloArvos

#PERTH DO YOU KNOW THIS INTERSECTION? Our team are hunting hard for the location of the #meteorite but need to know where this is to find it! We kindly had this vid uploaded to the researchers, but no other details! #Pleasehelp#perthnews@CurtinMedia ๐โ๏ธ๐
Eyes AND "ears" on WA catching the #fireball! It's so incredible we can make sense of natural phenomena that awe and excite us with the global endeavour of #science!
This is amazing! And in line with out Desert Fireball Network + public footage estimates. Loving how this adventure is unfolding. #CTBTO detects ultra-low frequency sound waves (that we can't hear) emitted by large explosions (or #fireball in our case!) #perthnews@CurtinMedia
Inaudible #infrasound waves caused by the #Perth#meteor were recorded by stations in the #CTBTO international monitoring system. We were able to estimate the approx. sound source location near York, explaining reports of shaking to @EarthquakesGA. #80DaysEarth#perthnews
Updates on the #perth#fireball from todayโs press conference. Thanks for all the enthusiasm and offers of support for this space rock adventure! Wonderful to have the public along for the ride of real-time research โ๏ธ๐๐
The search is continuing for the remnants of a massive fireball that lit up the Perth sky. "We're getting closer...we've been able to narrow it down...it probably started burning at 80km above earth" - @lycrageek - International Science Communicator. #7News https://t.co/WUP0yGp6SW
