On Sept 2, 2025, personnel of the 50th Bn, #SSB Balrampur (@50BnSSB_INDIA), displayed exemplary courage and swift response during a critical rescue near #Balrampur bypass.

While moving from BOP to Battallion Hqrs the party spotted a Bolero overturned in a water body. Inspector Praveen Kumar, 26 #SSB jawans immediately sprung into action, cleared the crowd and launched an rescue operation.

They pulled out five trapped passengers. Tragically, one man and one woman could not be saved. However, two victims were revived through CPR and timely intervention.

Due to their brave humanitarian effort 3 valuable human lives were saved— a powerful example of SSB motto: Service, Security, Brotherhood.
