An actual play podcast that plays a variety of tabletop roleplaying game systems. Firebreathing Kittens podcast: fantasy, mystery, adventure, friendship.
@john_scarcella Yeah, there were a few episodes in 2019, but it wasn't really Firebreathing Kittens yet (not in format, content, members, or anything, really) and the sound quality was nails on chalkboard, so we deleted it. The better ideas from 2019 resurfaced more polished later.
@HN2DM The adventure Cucurbitacin was inspired by Avenged Sevenfold's song Afterlife.
Curious about the result? You can hear the full D&D adventure all the way to the ending (every episode of Firebreathing Kittens is a complete adventure).

@HN2DM (Every episode of Firebreathing Kittens is a homebrew oneshot.) Favorite to run? The time looping in the episode 'Of Wedding Cakes and Giant Spiders' was super fun to run. The players found a way to accidentally set themselves up to get arrested for murder; it was hilarious.
@lianakangas One: Firebreathing Kittens.

@podcast_father Thank you :)
The idea of what we do is: every episode is a complete story with a beginning and an end. Like Thor or Iron Man, you can listen in any order. Genres range from 'dinner party murder detective mystery' to
'stuck on a desert island' to
'am I dreaming?' and more.
@podcast_father Oh gosh, our twitter's probably incredibly annoying to follow (it's just us recommending our show to people looking for a podcast). But we're on all the podcatchers if you want to give us a listen.

@elizabethdarcy@LuciGrimm What's your opinion on fantasy crime?
For example a dinner party murder mystery
(The episode's name is Djinner Party)

@LoneColossus@TheHiredSwords I agree with all of the above.
Monks learn what dashing and dodging and disengaging is. Playing one enhances knowledge of the fine details of combat rules.
@TheHiredSwords Crunchyroll releases a 'best' list every year that is determined by viewer voting. Best overall anime, best [genre], best villain, etc. Nominees and winners from past years generally are worth sampling a bit of.
