@OortCloudRanger @marwilliamson The solution is not mass deportation but changes to our immigration system so that the undocumented and paid the same as those here legally and US citizens. If we can get them documented, then we can tax them, get them legal drivers licenses and everyone gets paid fairly.

@politicalblond @marwilliamson Yes, they do pay FICA, Medicare, sales and minimal income tax. They pay FICA knowing that they will never collect Social Security benefits. If they were documented and filed tax returns, they would possibly pay a bit more. Driving legally would incur some additional tax.
