@TFHypeGuy And reason I say comics is Thundercracker was a leader class in Combiner Wars. And Leader Class figures can't combine. Slugslinger and Cosmos didn't have toys in Combiner wars either. So instead they used Wheeljack, Hound, Smokescreen, and Trailbreaker.
@TFHypeGuy I remember that this isn't the first time they used Thundercracker as part of a combiner. He was part of the Sky Reign combo in 2015 during Combiner Wars. In the comics, that is, not the toys.
@NickOnRipple@ChrisJAIK22@mouseycometz Yeah. I get the feeling one of the main reasons he couldn't remove his beast mode wasn't just because it was a part of him, but because he was heavily mutated twice as a Transmetal and then Transmetal 2, which he still is here.
@_tiedsh0es This is funnier to me when you look at back when this first released. Galvatron builds a pistol, when he literally has a giant cannon strapped to his arm ๐คฃ
@Kairito10 As someone who loved watching G1 and TF Prime as a kid in 2011 with my dad, I'd be lying if I said Megatron didn't look menacing as hell in the latter.
@KaonCon@NeonMicron Eventually it came to include Optimus and Windblade, and even featured Ratchet and Bulkhead returning along with Soundwave and Starscream, which I thought was awesome.
@KaonCon@NeonMicron If you mean show name, there was. The 2015 sequel to Prime was called Robots in Disguise but more so focused on a team Bumblebee built with Strongarm, Sideswipe, Minicon Fixit, Grimlock, and Drift along with his students Jetstorm and Slipstream.
@KaonCon@NeonMicron It was called Transformers: Robots in Disguise. Different from what I'm used to since it was Autobots vs Predacons with some Decepticons later. But it was pretty cool. Especially since Optimus, or Fire Convoy as he's called in Japan, can combine with Ultra Magnus.
