@Bnicklaus7 Now if there was an "all star" or "best of the year" fan vote that took place at the end of each season (no game, just the vote) it be a better tool to use in these "best of" conversations since the current AS is first half only
And is largely a popularity contest.
@brownsonjacob2 Even though they'll never agree to those exact numbers...I could see the players taking some sort of agreement in this area of contract length and total money; if it slides higher and higher as the league's revenues grow.
@JeffSpiegel I don't think he gets traded. Granted, they've definitely upped his value, but he's proven to be a good pitcher for us. The only way they trade/let him go is if Glasnow and Snell are both heading back and strongly so. He could be an asset in the playoffs as our bulk reliever.
@JeffSpiegel They probably want a less crazy version of this; so they propose a version they know will get immediately rejected in an effort to get a less offensive version passed
@JeffSpiegel They signed him not for regular season wins, but for the playoffs. If he wins 3 games enroute to a WS 3 peat, they will not complain about his contract at all.
@GabrielSterling I'm curious sir if you would be in favor of a "Multi-day" Federal election? Like Tuesday-Thursday? All ballots even mail in due by end of Thursday. Gives more people time to vote/arrange transportation/childcare/work, etc.
